1928 0 Gold Certificate US currency

Description

The 0bill is the largest denomination that has been printed and circulated sinceJuly 13, 1969, when the denominations of 0, ,000, ,000, and ,000 were retired.
Under the Series of 1928, allU.S. currency was changed to its  current size andbegan to carry a standardized design. All variations of the 0 bill wouldcarry the same portrait of Benjamin Franklin, same border design on the obverse, and the same reverse with a vignette of IndependenceHall.
This 0 bill was issued as a Gold Certificate with a golden seal and serial numbers.
