was produced by
FOSTORIA GLASS CO.  AMERICAN
was introduced in the year of 1915 and it was still in production during the eighties before the
FOSTORIA
.
doors were closed forever.  Since its beginnings,
AMERICAN
has remained a favorite, if not the most popular glass pattern sought after by glass collectors everywhere.  Here I am presenting a gorgeous
two piece salad set.  The set consists of a salad bowl and an under plate
.  The bowl is flat.  It has an oval shape with straight sides.  The bowl has a length of aprox. 12 inches.  The under plate is flat.  The plate has a length of aprox. 13 inches.
This two piece set is a true vintage
