    Here is an extremely rare very early vintage original autographed card signed by American entertainer, playwright, composer, lyricist, actor, singer, dancer and theatrical producer George M. Cohan (1878-1942), from 1935, direct from a 1935 autograph book.
    George M. Cohan began his career as a child in Vaudeville as part of The Four Cohans. By the time he was a teen, his original skits and songs were being published and sold. In 1904, Little Johnny Jones which introduced "Give My Regards to Broadway" and "The Yankee Doodle Boy" was his first Broadway hit. Cohan wrote the book, music and lyrics for 20 musicals and was one of the leading Tin Pan Alley songwriters, publishing upwards of 1500 original songs. His shows include Forty-five Minutes from Broadway, Hello, Broadway and The Song and Dance Man. His autobiography was published in 1925 -Twenty Years on Broadway and the Years It Took to Get There. Cohan songs include "Yankee Doodle Dandy", "Give My Regards to Broadway", "Over There" and "You're a Grand Old Flag". Extremely rare.
