All “Old Salty Planers” are made of the highest quality 18-8 Stainless Steel, with a patented and bonded construction. They are designed to get your line down deep in the water. At fish strike the Planer will trip and start to surface, permitting free play of fish without drag. They have a pulsating action which increases the performance of spoon and plugs and gives life to nylon, feather and all other baits and lures. Planer numbers indicate the approximate weight in ounces of the lead keel.
