My Classic Bicycles: The 1960's & 1970's Banana Seat bicycle always meant a lot for me. Most of my bikes as a kid were hand-me-down bikes from that era. We used to jump them all day until we were too tired to move. Building ramps from an old piece of wood and a couple cinder blocks. Riding wheelies, and jumping rock piles. We felt like we could fly on them. Evel Knievel inspired us to go big or go home. Jumping ramps I soon learned to repair my own bikes. Bent rims were common, and so was flat tires. Then in the 80's I was introduced to BMX bikes. I wanted one so bad but got a Huffy Omega 10 ten speed bike. Soon I hustled up enough parts from friends to build a BMX bike from junker parts. We jumped dirt piles and off of loading docks. We had many great times on our bikes back then. Those were the days of stress free adventures. No worries or cares. Thank you for shopping at Raleigh Ron's Classics. We have been building & collecting bicycle & parts for over 30 years. Specializing in vintage bicycles from the 60's, 70's & 80's.
