For auction is this spectacular 1928 Fifty Dollar Gold Certificate. In our opinion this note is a beautiful
Very Fine
. It is very crisp with no rips, tears or pinholes. It features razor sharp edges, full even margins and excellent color. This was the only year for small size gold notes!! These notes were printed for one year only and many were destroyed when F.D.R did away with the Gold Standard in 1933!!
