Vintage Fire Brigade 1870 Brass Belt Buckle Firefighter Repro made England

Description

This belt buckle is in solid condition. Dated 1870 and labeled  METROPOLITAN FIRE BRIGADE ENGLAND. It measures 4 3/4"  x 3". I was told that this is a repro made in the 1970s. It has great wear on it and had me fooled.
